The Firm
Tremayne Fay & Rheinberger was established in January 1981 as Griffits and Jackson. The original concept was for a small partnership of experienced barristers and solicitors to concentrate on more substantial civil litigation and associated advice, with the capacity to do all our own advocacy work. The composition of the firm changed when Peter Griffits retired as a partner in March 2001 and the firm was renamed Jackson and Tremayne. Philip Jackson and Geoff Tremayne practised as Jackson and Tremayne from 2001 until Mr Jackson retired from the firm to become a barrister. From 1 January 2007, the firm became Jackson, Tremayne & Fay Lawyers when Robert Fay joined the firm as a partner and our areas of practice expanded to include conveyancing, probate and commercial law.
Workers Compensation, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Personal Injury & Commercial Litigation
Our litigation practice is not a general practice. Since its inception our firm has always had a strong insurance and commercial litigation practice.
