In South Australia all lawyers are qualified as both barristers and solicitors. Some choose to work solely as barristers and work in Chambers rather than in law firms. The public do not come to those barristers as clients.
The public must first see a solicitor who will make the arrangements for a barrister if this is required.
There are many solicitors in
They may see the client in their offices and then perform the court work. Some will appear in Court at all levels of difficulty, or they may appear in Courts only on the more straight forward court hearings.
Other solicitors make the choice to never appear in Court and to specialise in non court legal matters.
Some Adelaide lawyers specialising in areas of law will travel to regional areas. This includes Adelaide Solicitors and Barristers.
